Cycling Age

Training

The old Cycling Proficiency Test has now been replaced by an improved training course for both adults and children known as the National Standards for Cycle Training

This new standard has been developed to provide a modern 21st century scheme that caters for today's road conditions.  The new Standard teaches us how to integrate and mix with other road traffic safely.

CyclingAge delivers cycle training to the National Standards for children and adults. Courses for children and teenagers follow the Bikeability syllabus. Courses for adults are tailored to the individual's requirements guided by the National Standards.

Course lengths vary according to initial skill levels and trainees objectives. So a course can be just one lesson or as many as required.

CyclingAge provides National Standards Cycle Training on a one to one and a unique paired riding basis. CyclingAge delivers courses for youth and community groups, schools, colleges, universities and work places.

CyclingAge is a fully qualified National Cycling Standards Instructor, has an Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate, Cycle Activity Provider Insurance and a First Aid Appointed Person Certificate.

Whatever your age, whatever your ability, from complete beginners, through to those that are just a bit rusty or need some assistance with rural, urban or commuter riding, CyclingAge can help.
